From tracking tools, SEO tools, and analytic reporting, there is a tool for just about every marketing area. With tools for essentially every marketing specialty, it can seem overwhelming when trying to decide which one will help your business the best.
SEO tools can be extremely helpful and can help automate, analyze, and help find new opportunities, saving you valuable time. We’re here to highlight the favorites that we recommend for a variety of specialties.
Today’s highlight: Google’s Structured Data Testing Tool
You may have heard the terms structured data, rich results (previously known as rich snippets), or schema before, but what do these words mean exactly? Before you can learn how to use the Structured Data Testing Tool, check out our Schema 101 blog to learn a little more about structured data, rich results, and schema.org.
Once you have written the structured data and are ready to test it out, then you can head over to the Structured Data Testing Tool. Test your structured data either by looking at a URL that already has structured data in the html (“fetch url”) or by testing a code snippet you paste directly into the tool. Run the test and it will then display a correct result or will show you if there are errors and warnings. The Structured Data Testing Tool is a valuable tool that is simple to use, and best of all it is free.
